Sometimes it’s as easy as looking at the leftovers in your fridge. I had some dulce de leche from making pie, and an open bottle of blood orange ale from making beer cocktails. It was that easy. Knowing that I had a carton of vanilla ice cream/orange sherbet helped.

In a microwaveable bowl mix 1 cup canned dulce de leche & 1/4 cup Flying Dog Bloodline Blood Orange Ale. Microwave 90 seconds. Stir. Let it cool slightly to allow it to tighten back up.
