With Perfect Little Bites, I bring the restaurant experience to you. My name is Chris Spear. I work as an in-home personal chef and culinary instructor. While my business is based in Frederick, Maryland, I provide service within a 70-mile radius which includes Baltimore, Washington D.C., northern Virginia and parts of southern Pennsylvania. Whether you’re interested in having a fun dinner party, an intimate meal for two, or learning how to cook, I can help. As a working professional with kids, I know how hard it can be to get out of the house and have a great dining experience. I want to provide you with a memorable, restaurant-quality food experience in the comfort of your own home. I use modern techniques and source the best products available. I bring the food, china, linens and cooking equipment. As long as you have a stove, oven, fridge and microwave, I’m ready to work. When I’m done, your kitchen will be left spotless. I’m the only chef in the area doing this right now. In addition to having an amazing meal, you save all that valuable time you would have otherwise lost traveling, parking and waiting. The money you save on that babysitter and parking garage can be better spent on flowers or a small gift for your partner. So, go ahead, pop a bottle and pour a drink. I’ll take care of the rest.

Here is just one of my customer testimonials. You can find more by clicking here. “We had an unbelievable evening with Perfect Little Bites. Having Chris come into our home and prepare a delicious, gourmet meal was truly outstanding. Chris takes care of everything (including the dishes!) which allowed us to enjoy a wonderful restaurant experience in our home. And his menu choices were excellent. After exchanging information about our likes and dislikes, he prepared a terrific menu for us. We would highly recommend Perfect Little Bites for any special occasion, or as a unique gift option. Thanks Chris!” – Chris Bock, Falls Church, VA
All dinners and events are personalized for YOU. Because of this, I don’t have set menus. I will accommodate any dietary preference including vegan, gluten-free or any allergies. You can get a feel for my style by exploring my blog. It’s a brief glimpse into the things I’m working on. There are a lot of recipes, as well as a look behind the curtain. I cook most cuisines, and love working with people to create their perfect event. Please explore the blog to see what I’ve been up to.

Pork and Hominy Posole with Avocado/Hatch Crema, Radishes, Cilantro and Lime
On pricing: Plan on $100 per person for a dinner (minimum of 2 people) or a 2 hr cooking lesson. With an increase in attendees, the cost per person goes down. I use the best quality products available to me, and there’s a large range in food costs. Do you want the crimini mushrooms that are $3 a pound, or peak-season morels that cost $50 a pound? Generally, I need at least two weeks to prepare for an event, and I tend to book up quickly. If you don’t love your meal, the next one’s on me.
Payment can be made by check, credit card or PayPal, and I offer gift certificates in all denominations. Upon payment, you will receive an email requesting information about where to send the gift certificate.
