This past weekend I celebrated my birthday at Vanish Brewery in Lucketts, VA which is about 20 minutes from my home in Frederick, MD. They are a farm brewery that also grows hops. Being a big fan of beer, it was a must-visit for me. In addition to beer, they’re currently serving BVQ on the weekends. Don’t know what BVQ is? It’s BBQ brought to you by chef Bryan Voltaggio, cooked up by their current pit-master Matt Crane. Not only has the beer been well received, but the BBQ was just noted as one of the top 10 spots for BBQ in the DC area by The Washington Post. Stop by and grab some great beer & BBQ.
