Having had a very busy weekend, I was deciding what to post about. I did a lot of cooking and a lot of eating. Saturday morning I got out of bed early (not by choice), and made homemade cinnamon rolls. You know, the kind with yeast that needs to rise twice. Then, I made the best grilled cheese & tomato sandwich using locally made ciabatta bread, manchego cheese & tomatoes from my garden. Last night I made smashburgers from Ayrshire Farms ground beef, served with a myriad of artisinal toppings.
My point is that if you start with high quality ingredients, you’ll have an amazing product. It might cost a little more, or take a little more time, but its worth it in the end. While this seems like a no-brainer, it was worth repeating.
